Happy Friday the 13th! Our little one is 6 months old today. Natalia loves rolling and is slowly discovering she can move around when she does this. She has been sitting up unassisted for awhile now. No sleeping problems. We've started on solid food. She has been eating oatmeal and started green beans today. She sits in the shopping cart by herself now. She can make you smile in an instant and loves to laugh. Happy half birthday baby girl! <3

Natalia meets Santa
We took Natalia to Clemson's Breakfast with Santa. She had a fun time trying to rip the plastic tablecloth and attempting to steal our food. We then got in line for Santa. She did great sitting on his lap and even pulled on his beard. =)

First time trying baby cereal
Besides adding the rice cereal into her bottle a few months ago, she's had nothing besides formula. We gave her her first cereal, and she loved it! She was quite a mess but enjoyed the taste.

5 months old
5 months old today. She has a wonderful personality and is the happiest baby. She loves snuggles and cuddles. She cheers up pretty fast when we pick her up. Her newest thing is blowing raspberries. She laughs all the time and loves the car seat mirror. She is still sleeping through the night.

Natalia's Baptism
We had a great day! Stephie was able to come and be a part of the service. We also had my family and Stephanie HR to celebrate with us. It was a wonderful day!

Natalia's first Halloween
She got to dress up as a cow for her first Halloween. She looked so cute! We also took her "Trick or Treating." We took her to 2 neighbors' houses and got 3 pieces of candy. Then we enjoyed the rest of the night.

4 months old
The littlest one is 4 whole months old today. I'm still in disbelief that she is growing so fast. She has started showing signs of teething and has her hand in her mouth all the time. She "gums" my fingers as well. She laughs, and we love to make her laugh. She can roll over from her back to her tummy. She likes falling asleep on her side now, and has her hands folded as if she is praying. =) She is very alert and aware of her surroundings. She loves the Wiggles.

1 year ago today
1 year ago today I found out I was pregnant with Natalia. It was a wonderful day, and I can't express how much emotion I had. We were nervous and excited. Now we have a wonderful 15 week old daughter, who we are so in love with. <3

First laugh
She laughed for the first time yesterday. I was tickling her while she was on her changing table and she let out the sound. I smiled so big and had to keep tickling her. She laughed for the first time with Matt today too. She is so cute!!!! <3

3 months old
3 months old today. She has been cooing non stop, and has the sweetest voice. She also has rolled over a few times (back to front). She gets mad once she is on her tummy for too long. Sometimes she gets stuck on her side and is frustrated. She grabs a lot of things and loves to pull on my hair. She also has her hands in her mouth all the time. She holds her head up like a champ and loves to be sitting up. We still need to help her sit up, but she is loving it. She also sleeps through the night and has been sleeping 10 hours since being moved into the crib. She needs to be entertained all the time, and of course we are always at her service. <3

Kick N' Play Piano
The Kick N' Play Piano is Natalia's new favorite toy. I love watching her play with it. So for your entertainment, here's a video of it!

First night in her room
Check! It took a little while longer to put her down, but she fell asleep! I had done the usual bottle, rocking and lay her down with my phone. It has a lullabies app with stars on the screen. I guess I took it out too soon, because she woke up and would not stop crying. After some more of her bottle and the lullabies cd being played, she fell asleep. It was weird watching her on the monitor and not being able to watch her next to me. But I think we both slept pretty good. The best part was going in this morning to get her up. =)

First day of daycare
Yesterday was Natalia's first day of daycare. I had a hair appointment and then meetings all day, so she got picked up a little before 5. She was there for the full day. =( Today is my first day back to work at ASC and it felt weird dropping her off, and then coming home to an empty house. I miss her so much! But, she is adjusting well, so hopefully it's good for the long run. 1st day of school outfit! (And rocking the Episcopal shield booties).

2 months old
Our little sweet pea is 2 months old today! She is loving the world around her and can't keep her eyes shut during the day. She is so curious and wants to be walked around or outside so she can see everything. It is so much fun watching her expressions while she stares at something. She also loves moving around by herself, and gets frustrated when she hits the side of the crib/ play pen.

She flipped over!
Natalia rolled for the first time. She went from back to tummy and had kicked herself off of her mombo pillow. She had been laying on the mombo with her head on the big part of the pillow. She then moved herself so that she was laying sideways on the pillow with her head hanging off the side. Then she was kicking and flipped herself. Total fluke, but fun to watch!
This is her passed out on the couch after completing the flip.

Holding up her head
Natalia has figured out that she can see more things when she lifts up her head. She loves to hold it up while we walk around and hold her. Even when she's in her mombo she loves looking around.

AW: Holds head up
Last night she started holding her head up for longer periods. We got so excited! I was snapping pictures away of her trying to hold her head up and playing on her tummy time mat. I can't believe how fast she's growing!
First nap in the crib
The daycare countdown is on since August starts tomorrow. I've got until the 16th to get her comfortable with napping in the crib. I decided to go ahead and start today and we had a successful first nap. It was only 45 minutes, but I'm starting it off easy. She also just hung out in there to get used to it before falling asleep. It's also good for when she visits my parents house, since they would have a crib for her. Here are pics of my little baby in her big crib. (It's hard to tell, but she is awake in the first picture).

First hospital visit
Natalia has Tracheomalacia. We found this out at her 2 week visit, and have been monitoring it. The noises she makes got worse yesterday. I ended up bringing her into the pedi office, and they checked her oxygen level and vitals. When the doctor watched her breathe, she said that her muscles were working a little too hard to make her breathe. She was also breathing 50 times a minute, an infant should only be doing 30. This was enough to send her to the hospital. We drove out to Greenville, and got admitted. She was very angry when she found out she had to be naked. =/ Poor thing was so cold!
She needed to be monitored for 24 hours. When we first got there, she had an elevated temp of 100.5. Thankfully it never stayed that way, it went back to the normal temp. After a little while she got her gown and was left alone. Since it was her first day, they needed to check her vitals every 4 hours. She was not pleased.
After not having any naps throughout the day, she was able to sleep for a 6 hour stretch. She was woken up for her vitals, and fell right back asleep. Our little girl did so good, and we were so proud. This morning the doctors checked on her and said she was sounding a bit better. They said we would have to deal with this until she grew out of it. Thankfully she only has a mild diagnosis, and will not require surgery. At 11 am we were told we could go home, so we had to wake up Sleeping Beauty. <3

Church
We took Natalia to church for the first time today. That also meant a drop off in the nursery. It was the first time we left her with someone, even if it was only an hour. My anxiety levels were pretty high when we got there, but she didn't cry- so that helped. She was well behaved, even when she was in the church. She's such a good baby! Everyone loved her. =) We grabbed lunch at Moes afterwards, and she did pretty well. I had to leave early once she started fussing, but she quickly stopped. She was also awake for a good couple of hours, so she's passed out now. I have a feeling it'll be a long nap. =p

Cool things
Natalia has been having a great morning today. She decided she wanted her paci, and she wanted to hold it in. It was so cool to see it pop out, and have her hand push it back in. Before she did tummy time I had her on her play mat, looking up and she played with her rattle. By play I mean, she started following it when I would shake it. Her eyes moved, and kept the focus on it. I am so excited!

1 month old
I can't believe how fast this month has gone by. She has grown so much and become more interactive with us. She snores and farts like her daddy, and she has my smile. She can "inch" around and loves to grab my hair and pull it. She is so strong for someone so small. Her "talking" is too cute! We are in love with this beautiful baby girl. <3

Good first week
We had a really good first week together. I think we're bonding really well, and I'm starting to understand her cues. Matt was home on the 4th, so I had help, which was really nice. She also behaved wonderfully on Friday. Whoo hoo! Natalia got to meet her Uncle Steve last night, unfortunately we didn't get to snap a quick pic. She'll get to meet her Grandma M this coming week. =)

Playtime
We had her out on the play mat for the first time yesterday. She did really well, but wasn't sure what to do. I'm excited for when she'll actually enjoy using it.
First day solo
Natalia and I had a pretty good first day together. We had a few meltdowns, but that was to be expected. I tried out the Moby wrap, and it worked wonders. I just need to be able to get her in the wrap by myself. We definitely missed Matt today. =/

She is doing great. She is up 12 ounces and has grown half an inch. Doc says everything is looking good, and we're doing a great job. The next check up is at 2 months.

First walk in the stroller
We went for our first walk today. She did great and slept the entire time. Maybe next time, she can keep her eyes open. We went this evening to try to keep it at a cooler temp, and we walked around the neighborhood. Plus side for me- no swollen feet!

1 week old!
I can't believe it's been a week already. It has really flown by. There have been so many firsts, and I know there are so many things she'll be doing soon. It's so exciting. =)
