Blowing Kisses

Natalia blew a kiss for the first time today!  We were on our way to Toys R Us when we were blowing her kisses.  Natalia copied us and will blow us a kiss when asked or mimic us.  Very sweet to watch!

18 months old

We have been told that Natalia radiates.  Everyone around her becomes happy when they are with her.  She is super sweet and loving, and happy!  She is a toddler though and has been in the tantrum stage for quite awhile.  She is getting better with trying to be sneaky and tricking us.  It's really funny to watch, but it makes her mad when she doesn't get her way.  She has the best group of friends and loves spending time with all of them.  Her bottom molars are cut through, and her canines are starting to cut through.  She's taking teething pretty well this go around.

Breakfast with Santa 2014

Natalia attended Breakfast with Santa with her friend Teagan this year.  She was not impressed with him, and let everyone in the room know!  

 

17 months old

Natalia has gotten her two bottom molars.  She is becoming really good with climbing up steps and crawling back down the steps.  She loves going in the tunnels at the playground and sliding down the slide.  She is very proud of herself whenever she does this.  Seeing her get confident makes me really proud as a parent.  =)

16 months old

Natalia loves to greet friends by hugging.  She also gives us kisses.  She waves to all of the animals we pass by.  Whenever we go outside and she hears the dogs, she starts panting.  She doesn't have many words yet but seems to have excellent comprehension.  She is getting into the tantrum stage and will have some meltdowns.  It looks like her molars are on the way in.  She loves to dance and wiggle!  Her favorite songs are by the Wiggles, but she also enjoys some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  =)

 

15 months old

Little Natalia is a busy little girl. She's getting close to running, and is always moving around. She loves giving hugs and pulling us close.  She is very friendly but is still in the separation anxiety phase. She has more teeth coming in and is handling it well. 

14 months old

Natalia Grace is now 14 months old.  She has become a walker and is starting to move faster.  We have seen her run in the last 2 days.  We are still working on using utensils, and have moved onto straw sippy cups.  She can understand some directions and is very outgoing.  She has also started playing "horsey" with daddy.  She walks over to Matt and climbs on his back when he lays on the floor.  She then holds on as he crawls around.  =)

 

Natalia's wild hair

Our little girl is developing such a personality.  When she notices we laugh at something, she will go all out trying to impress us.  She is so funny!  This video is taken right before bath time, when her hair tie has been taken out.

We have a walker!

Today she started taking 10 steps at a time.  We were able to catch it on video, and have her walk back and forth between us.  We are so proud!  We were giving her a piece of a cookie each time she came to one of us.  We need to take a picture with a sign that says: "Will walk for cookies."  =)

 

13 months old

Little N is now 13 months old.  We're getting close to her walking independently.  She is also trying to use utensils and not just fling them off her tray.  She is making so many strides and is so much fun to be around!

 

12 months old ~ 1 Year old!!

Natalia is celebrating her first birthday today!!!

She is able to stand by herself for longer periods of time.  She will take steps if she can hold someone's hand.  She loves to clap and will clap during songs as well.  She loves dancing; in her high chair, car seat or anywhere.  She still loves snuggling with me.  

11 months old

She loves holding onto the couch and standing.  She is very fast getting from one side of the couch to the other.  She will take a step or two when walking from the coffee table to the couch.  She uses her push walker to walk and will walk when we hold her hands.  She's getting close to standing by herself.  Her two top teeth are on their way as well.  

 

10 months old

She has started hugging us.  We love her snuggles!  She is a very fast cruiser and is trying to stand by herself.  She has a push walker which she uses all the time and loves being up and about.  She is having pretty bad separation anxiety from us, hopefully it won't last too long.  

 

9 months old

She is a very busy baby!  She cruises all over the room.  She also loves to crawl fast and have me chase her.  She has learned she can get off the couch by herself as well.  This past weekend she learned how to wave!  

8 months old

She has had such an exciting month.  She started crawling a few weeks ago and loves being independent.  She loves getting from Point A to Point B by herself.  She is such a wiggle worm!  She "talks" all the time.  She says dadadada, and mamamamamaa.  We also have squealing conversations.  She had a daddy daughter date night last week, and it was so sweet!  

 

Snow Day Part 2

We had so much fun playing in the snow today.  Natalia loved her little sled and loved being pulled around.  <3

First week staying at home with N

Our first week home together all day every day has been great.  We've gone to the play ground each day we have the car.  And we play together a lot.  <3  I took a video today of Natalia on the swing, she loved it!

Natalia and Tebow

Natalia loves Tebow, and Tebow is starting to really like her too.  They get along fine, I'm not sure how he'll be when she starts crawling faster and chases him.  I love how they interact with each other now.  <3

 

Natalia's First Snow

We took Natalia out into the snow today.  She was cranky before her nap, so she didn't like being outside.  After her nap, she seemed okay with being outside.  So sweet!

 

Natalia is crawling!

Natalia took her first attempt at crawling 2 nights ago.  Tonight she has been all over the floor.  It's so exciting!!  

 

7 months old

She has done so much in this last month.  She talks all the time and loves interacting with us.  She also rolls all over soft surfaces- like our bed.  She doesn't roll around on the floor.  This past Friday she surprised us with creeping!  She loves to pull herself up to stand.  She does not like lying down and sits up really fast. This makes diaper changes interesting!  She seems to want to skip the crawling phase.  She has tried lots of food and love the sweet stuff!  She didn't like peas or squash.  She also has her two lower front teeth coming in. We can't wait to see what you have in store for us this next month.

Today she learned she could creep by holding onto the bean bag chair.  She wants to learn how to walk so bad!
